Greece is bracing itself for days of storms, heavy rain and snow over this coming weekend.

Meteorologists are forecasting the Ionian islands and western Peloponnese will see strong rains and stormy weather early on Saturday, with Sterea (including Attica), the Cyclades
and Crete experiencing the same later in the day.

Heavy snows are expected on Sunday in Epirus, western and central
Sterea, Thessaly and western and central Macedonia.

Epirus, Macedonia, Thessaly, Thrace, Western and Central Sterea will also see snow on Monday and Tuesday.
