New Video Emerges of Devastating Greek Wildfire (video)

A new video documenting the spreading of the July 23rd Mati wildfire that killed 99 people and destroyed many homes was shown on Monday on Skai television.

A home security camera in Mati captured the speed and the wrath of the killer blazes that engulfed the whole seaside town within an hour.

In the video that shows the wildfire beginning to spread at 6.07 pm on July 23, the wind is getting stronger by the minute, but there is nothing that predicts the upcoming tragedy.

Within one minute smoke appears, the atmosphere darkens, and the closed circuit television camera photocell lights up to continue recording. The picture changes dramatically.

The camera filter changes automatically to continue recording. A few seconds after the first flame appears, the fire devastates everything in its path.
