Later on, on the initiative of local volunteers, the Archaeological Collection of the Galaxidi Maritime Museum was established. The only few – just 300 – findings from either the excavations of the 1st Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities or the offerings of the inhabitants cover the Bronze Age until the end of antiquity.
